Terms

These are the terms for custom furniture from Big Oak Trim Works. Your written estimate covers the details of your piece.

Quotes and replies

A quote request doesn't commit you to anything. We reply within one business day, Monday to Friday. Your price is set in a written estimate after we talk the piece through.

Deposit

50% to start. The balance is due before the piece is picked up, delivered or shipped.

Refunds

The deposit is refundable within 48 hours of payment. After that, it is non-refundable once materials are ordered.

Payment

Payment is by invoice. There is no online checkout.

Lead time

8 to 12 weeks from deposit.

Pickup, delivery and shipping

Local pickup or delivery in Northwest Arkansas, and freight shipping quoted per piece. Furniture shipping available by quote.

If a freight shipment arrives damaged, note the damage on the delivery paperwork before signing. We help you file the claim with the carrier.

Guarantee

Guaranteed against defects in our joinery and materials for the life of the piece, for the original owner. Normal wood movement, wear, and damage in shipping or misuse are not covered.

Wood is natural

Grain, color and figure vary from board to board, and wood darkens or lightens with age and light. These are part of natural wood, not defects.
